UBA is our A-to-Z blueprint for starting, operating, and growing an ultrasound business — covering all 8 main business models for mobile and direct to patient services. It's built for sonographers who are ready to launch, not still deciding if they want to. 99% of our clients come in with zero business or sales experience.
Do I have to quit my day job?
Absolutely not — and we recommend you don't. All trainings are on-demand in your client portal, so you can build your business while keeping your current position. We have students who binged the content and were out marketing in 30 days. Others take a few months to absorb and implement. It's your pace.
What is the investment for the Ultrasound Business Academy?
Starting an ultrasound business on your own typically costs $30,000–$50,000 in startup expenses. UBA clients invest a fraction of that, and get there in significantly less time with a proven roadmap and one-on-one support. The investment is $12,500 for the program (payment plans available - see the FAQ below for details!), and we recommend having approximately $5-10k set aside to put toward your personal business startup expenses.
Do you have payment plan options?
We do! We offer a 6-month in-house payment plan (small service fee included), and we also have referrals for funding for those interested in a longer payment plan option than we offer in-house.
Are contracts included?
Yes. Your service agreement, HIPAA contract, and bonus contracts are all included and ready to customize. A healthcare attorney would charge $7,500–$10,000 for the service agreement alone. It's in your portal from day one.
Do I have direct access to Jen?
Yes. The UBA includes six 1:1 strategy sessions with your dedicated business coach, plus unlimited M–F access to Jen, Payton, and the team through our client messaging channel. Most questions are answered within one business day. This is not a generic support desk — it's your team.
How long do I have access to the course content?
Lifetime. Every training, download, contract, and tool in the portal is yours forever — including anything added in the future. The only thing with a time frame is your 6-month coaching container.
What's the revenue potential?
It depends on your model and market. For mobile diagnostic, the average is roughly $1,000/day gross revenue per sonographer per machine. For direct to patient, a good per-patient average is $125–$150. Either way, you're in the driver's seat — you set your goals and determine how big you want to grow.
How does enrollment work?
UBA is application-only and opens four times a year — February, May, August, and November. We keep cohorts small because all clients are directly coached by Jen and the team.
